Luke 5:16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
Luke 6:12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.
Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

In many places in the Bible it is recorded that Jesus prayed. Jesus, the man who healed the sick, turned water into wine, multiplied the fishes and loaves, cast out unclean spirits, calmed the storm, and was raised from the dead, THAT same Jesus needed to get away and pray. He needed to get refreshed and spend time with God the Father, and we all need that.
John 15: 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7
We need to stay connected to God the same way the vine is connected to the root. Without communication with him, we will wither and die. I’ve heard it said that faith that is not growing is dying.

We have such an amazing God to have given us literally everything we need in our prayer lives…. Now all we have to do is make the time to go before Him with our praise and petitions, our love and adoration, our worries, and concerns. He is faithful to listen and answer as He knows best. Any time, any place.
1 Thess 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Lord, help me to be better at spending time in prayer, for this is Your will. Amen!!
