Acts 17:25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Read Genesis 1:1-30) Psalm 50:1 The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.
Isaiah 5 I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.

Make no mistake, this God is the ONLY God. He created everything. He did it by himself. Without a committee, an advisor or a team. I read Acts 17:25 recently and although it’s something we KNOW, I just kept coming back to it. As much as we need God on a daily basis for every breath we take, HE does not need us. There is nothing He does in a day that He cannot accomplish alone. We are not the same. We cannot accomplish anything in a day without Him. He made us for relationship with Him, but He does not NEED us, He desires us. WE on the other hand, do need Him for our breath, for our shelter, food, supplies and safety. (His eye is on the sparrow and I KNOW He watches me).
Although we need Him for these things, there is something else we need Him for. We need Him to fill the hole in our hearts. Since we were made for relationship with Him, when we do not have that relationship or when we are not spending the time to nourish it, we feel the void.
Elon Musk, the inventor of the Tesla, and founder of SpaceEx is a very wealthy man. He has accomplished much in the worlds’ eyes. But he admits that even though he has done all these things, he is not satisfied. There is still something missing in his life. We hear this over & over from athletic celebrities to movie stars. Some people cannot ever find peace or happiness and end their lives because they cannot see a good ending.
Think how sad this must make God. He must cry out “I am HERE! Come to me! I am waiting just for you!” He wishes not one would perish but so many will not answer His call. He is here for us today. He will fill your heart with love and peace. He will take you through the trials and hard times. He never leaves or fails us, and if that was not enough, when our time here on earth is over He takes us to live with Him in heaven.
If you haven’t made this decision to let him into your life, please do not wait. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. He is faithful and compassionate. He knows your fears and dreams. He will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
He loves you with an everlasting love, He’s calling you today. Don’t miss His incredible love.
Dear Lord, come into my heart today, become the Lord of my life and lead me in your right path. Amen.
