He Can
He Can
There is a young man with a nice voice who posts videos of his songs on Youtube. Here are a few lyrics from one:
I can’t take your broken heart and mend all of the shattered parts. I can’t help you find the strength to stand but I have a friend who can. I can’t calm the raging seas and walk the waves of Galilee I can’t reach out with a saving hand, but I have a friend who can. He is love He is hope He is all that you’re feeling inside when the night breaks you down He is healing, I can’t offer you a perfect plan, But I have a friend who can.
How are you doing today? Is your heart hurting? As much as I would like to, I can’t help. Are you weak from the struggle? I can’t help. Is the storm raging around you? I can’t calm it. But the one who walked on water, calmed the seas, healed the lepers, raised Lazurus and hung the stars, HE CAN! If you are in need today, whatever that need might be, reach out to Him! He wants you to! He is waiting just for you. You don’t have to worry about going to Him with small things. He wants to be a part of everything in your life. You don’t have to worry about bothering Him. All he wants if relationship with you. He doesn’t have a punch card, He isn’t keeping track of how many times you go to Him. Your “punch card” will never be full.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
Like any good father, He never turns us away.
Luke 11:11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[f] a fish, will give him a snake instead?
All good things come from God the Father.
Thank you, Lord, for your gifts and blessings. Thank you for your son and the gift of salvation. Help us to always remain grateful. Amen
