If God has a plan for our future, and knows everything that is going to happen in our lives, then why do we pray for things to go a certain way?

Why do we try our best in our personal jobs, when God has already decided what our efforts will earn us?

Did God purposely make my life harder than everyone else’s? Why does it seem like there’s more bad than good? If my life is planned out, then why don’t I just lay around on the couch and let life run its course?

Because, friends, God’s plan is not for us to sit around on the couch and let life pass us by. This mindset will not bring God’s intended plan for each of us to fruition.

YES, God has a great life planned out for us! So get off the “couch!”

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

So, why do we pray? Prayer is a part of God's WILL in our lives, and necessary for his plans to work!

Each one of us has our own awesome talents given from God to use in our lives, & it is our duty and responsibility to take action and use our gifts to their GREATEST potential! When we take action with our God-given gifts, God can put his full plan into motion! If we just lay around on the couch, there is no possible way to show the world what we can do!

Do you feel like you don’t know God’s plan for you at this moment? Start with prayer!

Take action on a daily basis using your talents to exemplify God's purpose for you and help bring His grand plan to light!
