Several times in the Bible we are told Jesus went to be alone and pray. After He fed the 5,000 He immediately went to a hill to pray.

“Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd. And after he had taken leave of them, he went up on the mountain to pray.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭6:45-46‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Also at the Mount of Olives before His capture He was alone to talk with His Father.

“Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:36‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Jesus prayed with people for their needs. However isn’t it interesting that the Son of God needs to be alone with His Father? We are by ourselves enough but are we alone with God enough? I think more often about Jesus as 100% God rather than Him 100% man. Jesus is totally God and totally man. In humanity His strength, perseverance, wisdom and all other needs are met only through the Father. How much more do we need to seek our everything from that exact same Father!
Praise to the Father for making Himself available to us in the same way as Jesus!
As believers we are His sons and daughters! What a mighty God we serve!
