Wednesday evening’s beginning at 6:30PM.
JAM (Jesus and Me) is the Junior High ministry at Helmar where your child is taught by fun, cool, and down-to-earth leaders that know what your child is going through…because they’ve been there! Once a week junior high students gather together to have fun, but most importantly to open up their Bibles and to dive into what their leader has prepared for them that week. Leaders include parents of junior highers as well as college age youth who enjoy spending time with the younger generation. JAM meets every Wednesday evening during the school year at Helmar Church where the fun begins at 6:30PM! Weren’t your high school days fun? So why shouldn’t your high school ministry be too! Every Wednesday evening during the school year at around 7:30PM at Helmar Church, teens gather from Kendall, Grundy, LaSalle, and even Will counties, representing many surrounding public and private high schools around the area, to just hang out with their age group and to learn more about what it means to have a relationship with Christ. At H2O, teens are challenged to not only make a difference on Sunday mornings, but during the week as well! Teens participate in group discussions as well as mini lectures led by their leader regarding the challenges they face; and how they can overcome them. Today’s high schoolers are being impacted with negative influences almost everywhere they turn, H2O is one of those places they actually don’t have to worry about!
